Brian Hutchinson has been immersed in the electronics industry since 1991, starting with part-time gigs in computer repair and tech support during high school. He gained extensive supply chain knowledge at DBL Distributing, where he established a pivotal data-warehouse department. Joining Innovative in 2005, Brian excelled in automation and contributed to the success of Audio Video Warehouse. After a brief stint as a freelance programmer and IT specialist, he returned to Innovative in 2019, driven by his passion for technology.

Paul Parker - Arizona

Parker grew up with musical influences in his life. His Grandma was a piano player, Grandpa was an Accordionist, and his father played the guitar and is also a Professional Disc Jockey.  

Being surrounded by music in his life, he decided early on to dive into a career in the consumer electronics industry.  He honed his skills as a Sales Manager at a Fortune 500 retailer, earning multiple awards including the President's Club Award.  With a true passion for technology, he went on to become a national account manager for one of the country's largest distributors of electronics.  

  In Parker's current role as a manufacturer's sales rep, his expertise in sales, distribution and technology has allowed him to successfully guide his clients into choosing the best products to align with their business needs. With his dedication to keeping up with the latest trends in technology, he is continuously expanding his knowledge base so you can always rely on him as the go-to person.   

  In his off time, Parker enjoys all things that can be done outdoors. You may find him RVing, exploring by 4x4, boating, keeping his vehicles sparkly clean and spending quality time with family, friends, his wife and his dog.

David Brown - Arizona

With over 20 years of experience in the lighting industry as a seasoned lighting & controls designer, David's illuminating career has seen him leave an indelible mark across various prestigious firms. 

Prior to Innovative, David shined brightly as a key member of Consolidated Electric Distributors' National Accounts Design Solutions team where he created immersive lighting experiences for national chains like Starbucks, DAZBOG Coffee, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and Sprouts.  

Before joining CED, David's stellar track record as a Sales Specialist at Signify (Philips Lighting) further solidified his reputation. From Color Kinetics to Dynalite Lighting Controls, he spearheaded projects in the Phoenix and Las Vegas markets. 

Earlier in his lighting career, David was responsible for illuminating the residences of the who’s who of Silicon Valley and multimillion-dollar commercial projects. 

David infuses his work with a unique perspective, seamlessly blending creative ingenuity with technical prowess. His passion for lighting innovation and unwavering dedication to client satisfaction continue to propel him to new heights in the dynamic realm of lighting design and specification. 

When he's not busy illuminating spaces with his creative genius, David can be found with his wife Nancy on the golf course, the archery range, sailing in San Diego, or camping in Colorado. 

Jon Long - Arizona

Jon began his career in the electrical industry in 2002, specializing in low voltage lighting. In 2004, he co-founded Upgrade Design with his father, where they made LUTRON their vendor of choice and earned HomeWorks Certification early on. Their dedication and passion quickly paid off—by 2006, they had grown the business to Diamond Level status, thanks to their focus on service, quality system design, and customer satisfaction. 

As a true advocate for LUTRON controls and shading solutions, Jon takes pride in pushing the limits of design and installation to deliver top-tier results. When his father retired in 2019, Jon continued running Upgrade Design on his own through the end of 2020. 

Will Crutchfield - Las Vegas

Will Crutchfield is a biochemistry graduate from the University of San Diego (2020) who initially considered a career in biotechnology but ultimately chose a different path. Upon graduating at the height of the pandemic, it was during this time that he homed in his creativity while playing as a musician. Fascinated by the intersection of technology and everyday life, he transitioned into the field of home automation and joined Innovative Consulting and Marketing in 2023. With a passion for both music and technology, he explores the intricacies of setting up live shows while also delving into the world of home automation, blending creativity and technical expertise to enhance people's daily living experiences. 

Will is a dynamic individual whose journey has been marked by exploration and a pursuit of diverse passions. Graduating in 2020 with a degree in biochemistry, he initially envisioned a career in biotechnology but ultimately charted a different course. Homing his creativity and craft as a musician before finding his stride, he is now a valued member of Innovative Consulting and Marketing with whom he joined in 2023. Despite his professional success, he is also deeply engaged in his personal interests. As a musician, he revels in the intricacies of live performance, where his love for music intertwines seamlessly with his fascination for the technical aspects of stage production, particularly in lighting, audio, and video. Moreover, he is passionate about the integration of technology into everyday life, which led him to explore the realm of home automation. His unique blend of scientific knowledge, creative flair, and technical expertise drives him to continuously seek out new ways to innovate and enrich both his professional endeavors and personal pursuits while also enhancing people’s daily living experiences.

Leanna has over 15 years of experience in management and customer service. She is the jack of all trades with experiences as a Pharmacy Technician, Cosmetologist, Animal Coordinator at a non-profit rescue and a photographer. At times she was even wearing the hats at the same time.  

In her free time Leanna enjoys spending time with her family, especially experiencing life through her toddler's eyes. She loves traveling, good food, photography, being outdoors and volunteering.

Nick joined the team in early 2025, bringing a fresh perspective and a deep love for technology. He recently earned his degree in from Arizona State University, where he built a strong base in computer science and developed a growing interest in full-stack development and game design. 

Whether he's testing out tools, building PCs, or staying up to date with the latest trends, Nick is always exploring new technology. His curiosity and hands-on approach will help him understand the business and develop effective solutions that benefit both the team and our clients.
